Man Jumps To Death From Park Avenue Hotel, Police Say
The man was pronounced dead on the scene at the Royalton Park Avenue Hotel.

NOMAD, NY — A man jumped to his death Monday morning from a Park Avenue hotel, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
Officers arrived on the scene of the Royalton Park Avenue Hotel between West 28th and 29th streets around 11:42 to discover the man's body, police said. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
Police are still investigating the death, and an NYPD spokewoman said the police department received multiple calls saying the man jumped from the hotel. The police could not confirm any information about the man's identity.

The city Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
Police closed down the street as emergency personnel operated at the scene of the hotel, according to witnesses.
