Man Stabbed In Times Square Subway Station: NYPD
Police said that a man was stabbed in the chest on Saturday while standing on a subway platform .

MIDTOWN, NY — A man was stabbed in the chest inside the 42 Street-Times Square subway station on Saturday evening, police said Wednesday.
The 51-year-old victim was waiting for the 1 train inside the station when a six-foot-tall stranger in all black pushed him, pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the chest, officials said.
First responders brought the injured man to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, and the stabber fled to the uptown platform, according to police.

The Daily News reports that the stabbing may not have been totally random.
While the victim reportedly told cops that his attacker was indeed a stranger, the two may have exchanged words at the turnstile after he asked the tall man a question, according to The Daily News.
