MIDTOWN, NY — A building in Midtown East caught fire on Friday, according to FDNY officials.
At about 10:35 p.m., an apartment building at East 47th Street and Second Avenue caught fire, officials said.
The blaze brought at least 60 fire fighters and first responders to the scene, according to the FDNY.

Smoke-eaters battled the flames for about 30 minutes until they were able to get them under control, officials said.
No injuries were reporter, a spokesperson from the FDNY told Patch.
