Missing Kips Bay Woman Has Been Gone For A Week

New York City police said Brittany Hobart was last seen on Aug. 30 leaving her home on 1st Avenue.

NEW YORK, NY — New York City police have issued a missing person alert for a 28-year-old woman from the city's Kips Bay neighborhood.

Brittany Hobart was last seen leaving her home at 401 1st Avenue on around 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 30, police said in the alert issued Saturday.

Hobart is described as 5'2", 150 pounds with a light complexion, medium build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Police have asked anyone with information on where she may be to call the New York Police Department's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
