On Sept. 2, the crooks targeted their first victim, a 36-year-old man, at 12:40 a.m. on Greenwich and West 11 Streets, stealing the man's cell phone, cops said.

Days later, on Sept. 9, the pair decided to start their thieving a bit earlier and further east, robbing a 52-year-old man of his phone as he sat on a bench in Tompkins Square Park at 6:30 p.m., according to police.

The next day, the pair stole a wallet from a 20-year-old in Chelsea on West 24th Street at 2:20 a.m., and on Sept. 13, they moved back east to steal a cell phone from a 24-year-old at 2 a.m. on First Avenue and East 50th St., officials said.

Police said the duo demanded phone passcodes from their victims before fleeing, but they couldn't say if the crooks were successful.

Officials released an image of people they say are connected to the incidents and described the duo as five foot eight inches and five foot ten inches tall.
