New Beer Garden Opens On Midtown Hotel Rooftop

The beer garden will serve a rotating selection of 11 brews on tap.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Midtown's newest beer garden is located ten stories in the air.

Haven Rooftop, located on the top of the Sanctuary Hotel on West 47th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues, recently debuted its new beer garden. The garden offers a rotating selection of 11 beers on tap and features seasonal brews such as Angry Orchard Rose Cider, Brooklyn Summer Ale and Sweet Water Extra Pale Ale.

The new venue also offers signature cocktails such as the Cielo, which is made using Sauza tequila, jalapeno, cucumber and cilantro, and the Haven Mojito, which is made using Bacardi, mint, ginger liqueur and ginger beer.

Customers can much on hot dogs and pretzels from a cart or order off Haven Rooftop's menu, according to a press release.

Haven Rooftop's opens on weekdays at 4 p.m. and closes between 11 p.m. and midnight. On the weekends the rooftop opens at 11:30 a.m., according to the businesses' website. Customers wearing gym clothes, hats, sneakers and flip flops won't be allowed inside, according to the website.
