New Midtown Chick-Fil-A Opening Soon

The popular chicken chain's branding was spotted on Eighth Avenue and West 54th Street.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Chick-Fil-A announced this year that it was opening two new restaurants in Midtown Manhattan, and one looks like it will debut any day now.

The southern chicken chain's branding has been plastered onto the windows of its new space on Eighth Avenue between West 54th and West 55th streets with the message: "We can't wait to serve you soon." Ever since expanding into New York City in 2015, Chick-Fil-A has become a popular spot for the lunchtime crowd.

Of Chick-Fil-A's current New York City locations, one stands out as one of the chain's most visited locations and another is the largest Chick-Fil-A that has ever opened. Most of the chain's expansion has been targeted at Manhattan.

Chick-Fil-A predicted that its new Midtown restaurants would open in late 2018 or early 2019 and has not yet announced an official opening day. The other new restaurants the chain plans to open are located at 700 Sixth Ave. near West 23rd Street and 711 Lexington Ave. near East 58th Street, according to a press release.

The three new restaurants are expected to create 600 jobs in Manhattan, the Atlanta-based restaurant chain said in a press release.
