Pair of Armed Robbers Stick Up Bank in Chelsea
The NYPD is on the search for a pair of armed bank robbers who struck Monday afternoon.

The NYPD is on the search for a pair of armed bank robbers who struck in Chelsea on Monday afternoon.
A man and woman entered the North East Community Bank at 242 West 23rd St. at 3:52 p.m. on Monday and the man passed a note to the teller demanding money and brandishing a semi-automatic pistol, police said.
The teller provided the well-dressed man with an unknown amount of money from the drawer and the pair fled.

The man is described as black, about 40 years old, 6-foot and bald. He was wearing a dress shirt and vest. His female accomplice is also about 40 to 50 years old, black and wearing a black shirt and black NYC hat.
