PATH Train Delays Into Midtown NYC From Journal Square, Hoboken
PATH Train service from Journal Square and Hoboken into Herald Square was briefly suspended. New Jersey Transit is cross-honoring.
MIDTOWN, MANHATTAN — Another day, another issue for commuters trying to get into Midtown. PATH Train service into Herald Square in Manhattan was suspended for a few minutes Tuesday morning because of a "car equipment problem."
Service on the Journal Square-33rd Street and Hoboken-33rd Street lines has since been restored but is running with residual delays.
New Jersey Transit is still cross-honoring tickets at Newark, Hoboken and New York Penn Station. PATH was telling people to take the train to the World Trade Center and then transfer to the NYC subway.

While PATH trains don't use the Amtrak tracks that have been the source of so much scorn — and rampant delays — over the last few months, Tuesday's incident was yet another headache for commuters who just want to cross the Hudson River and get to work, or home, on time.
