Pennsylvania Man Arrested After Midtown Elderly Subway Shove: Police
A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection to Wednesday's shoving of an 85-year-old man in a Midtown subway station, cops say.

MIDTOWN, NY — A man from Pennsylvania has been arrested and charged in connection to an early Wednesday morning shoving of an elderly man onto the train tracks inside a Midtown subway station, police said.
Brittan Jones, 30, of York, PA, was arrested on Wednesday evening on the Upper West Side and was charged with assault and reckless endangerment, according to police.
The Wednesday morning shove took place inside the 47th-50th st-Rockefeller Center station at around 5:45 a.m., officials told Patch.

An 85-year-old man was standing at the downtown-bound B and D train platform when, according to police officials, Jones walked up and abruptly shoved the straphanger to the tracks.
Fellow commuters quickly alerted police and the man was rescued from the tracks by responding officers, officials said.

The man suffered a cut to his knee and was rushed by first responders to Mount Sinai West in stable condition, police said.
Police said they arrested Jones on the Upper West Side at about 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.
