Here's Trump's New Wax Figure From Madame Tussauds

Now the result is official, Donald Trump will be the next President-elect to be molded by the museum.

MIDTOWN, NY — You know a Trump presidency is imminent when you get an announcement from the New York City Madame Tussauds wax museum declaring that people will be able to take a selfie with the future 45th president's wax figure in January 2017.

"Madame Tussauds can confirm work is now underway to complete the figure of the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump," the museum statement said. "The six-month long figure-making process began with the sculpting of clay head molds for both candidates back in June. Only now the result is official, Donald Trump will be the next President-elect to be molded, styled and immortalized in wax."

"It is 100 percent belly yak hair," Madame Tussauds' official "hair inserter," Sophie Crudginton, told Dallas News. "We're not using human hair because we can't get white human hair, but we're using yak and it works just as well."

For those not well-versed in animal species around the world, a yak is a large domesticated wild ox.

A team of 20 artists will "work around the clock" to finish wax Trump in time for his inauguration day on January 20, 2017, according to the museum franchise.

There will be a Trump figure at the Madame Tussauds in New York City, Washington D.C., Orlando, and London.

Trump previously had only a hand plaque hidden in the corner of the midtown Madame Tussauds, Patch found in August.

Back in August, Patch observed as groups of children passed the Trump plaque and said all kinds of things about the President-elect. One boy approached the plaque, held up a fake fist full of dollars, and said to his friends: "All I do is win."
