A trio of crooks swiped a woman's wallet from her purse on Friday, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY — Instead of picking flowers, they were picking pockets.
A trio of thieves stole a woman's wallet from her purse on Friday afternoon inside a prominent Midtown florist shop, police said.
At about 2:15 p.m., three men took the freight elevator to enter Lewis Miller Design on West 39th Street and broke through a locked gate to enter the office space, police said.

The trio swiped a 48-year-old woman's wallet and cell phone — and pushed the woman away, police said.
Despite the shove, the woman was able to grab back her cell phone before the thieves of three fled with her wallet, which police said contained $60 and several credit cards. She also refused medical attention at the scene, officials said.
