Normal Service Returns to 4, 5, 6 Trains After Bomb Scare at Grand Central
The MTA says a suspicious package has the platform at Grand Central cleared of passengers.

UPDATE 9 a.m.: The MTA says the platform at Grand Central was cleared due to a suspicious bag, and trains were skipping the station.
Police say the suitcase was checked and contained personal clothing. Normal service has resumed. Trains are running with delays.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Heavy police activity at 42nd Street-Grand Central is causing problems on the 4, 5, and 6 trains in Midtown.
The MTA officially says there is police activity at Grand Central, which has 4, 5, and 6 trains skipping the stop this morning.

Multiple people on the scene say the platform was cleared by counterterrorism police.
Grand central downtown 4/5/6 was shut down. Horns blaring & swat cops with assault guns. Not sure if jumper or something more serious.
