MIDTOWN, NY — A man wanted for two Midtown cell-phone snatches on the same day is also suspected to be behind two Bronx robberies — one of them at knifepoint, police said.

The man robbed two people in Midtown on Sept. 15 just minutes apart, according to a police report.

At 9:30 a.m., the cell-phone enthusiast first robbed a 38-year-old woman on Park Avenue and East 39th Street, grabbing her phone and running west, officials said.

He apparently ran toward East 34th Street and Madison Avenue, because that's where cops say 15 minutes later, the same man stole another phone from the hands of a 51-year-old woman before again fleeing on foot.

Days earlier on Sept. 12, the same man robbed two people — also minutes apart — in Morrisania, stealing a backpack from one and a wallet and cash from another in a knifepoint stickup, police said.
