The 39-year-old man was standing in front of Bravo Kosher Pizza on West 37th Street just east of Broadway at around 1 a.m. on May 8, when a black SUV pulled up.
Two man and a woman, all unidentified and armed with BB guns, opened fire at the man, hitting him once above the eye, according to police. The man ran inside the pizza shop, where he is an employee, according to the Daily News.

The strangers then jumped out of the SUV and followed the man into the pizza shop, where they picked up brooms and mops and threw them at the man, police said. None of those objects struck the man, and the group got back in the SUV and drove away, police said.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics but declined further medical attention, police said.
