Ritzy Public Restroom Reopens In Midtown's Greely Square
The public restrooms feature Italian tile, opera music and rotating toilet seat covers.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A new contender for the fanciest public restroom in New York City has appeared in Midtown Manhattan's Greely Square.
The recently-redone facilities opened to the public this month following a two-year, $580,000 renovation, the 34th Street Partnership business improvement district announced. The ADA-accessible restroom, which features four individual stalls, is located on the southern end of the square near the corner of Sixth Avenue and West 32nd Street.
Designed to mirror many of the luxury finishes found at Bryant Park's much-heralded restrooms, the Greely Square facility comes equipped with Italian tile, fresh flowers, speakers playing opera music, maximum-privacy stalls and rotating, sanitary toilet seat covers. Both Greely Square and Bryant Park business improvement districts share a management team.
