Score 2-For-1 Tickets For NYC Broadway Week 2020

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Theater lovers can score two-for-one deals on tickets to some of Broadway's most popular shows for NYC Broadway Week between Jan. 21 and Feb. 9, the city's touristm agency announced this week.

Sales for discounted tickets to shows such as "Frozen," "Harry Potter," "Wicked" and "The Book of Mormon" went on sale this week. Broadway week customers also have the opportunity to pay just $20 to upgrade tickets for better seats that represent as much as a 50% discount on the original price.

Twenty-one shows are participating in this winter's Broadway Week promotion, with notable first-time participants such as "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Jagged Little Pill." Since Broadway Week's creation in 2011, the promotion has sold more than 1.5 million tickets, generating more than $106 million in revenue for Broadway shows.

The annual promotion is organized every year by NYC & Company, the city's tourism agency, in partnership with The Broadway League.

"What better way to start the new year than to see a Broadway show? This winter, NYC Broadway Week is the perfect opportunity to experience the world’s best theater with 2-for-1 tickets," Charlotte St. Martin, president of The Broadway League, said in a statement.
