SEE: Police Release New Photos Of Alleged St. Patrick's Vandals

Two woman allegedly spray-painted "BLM" and "f--- 12" on walls of the Fifth Avenue cathedral.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Police released new photos of the two women who are accused of defacing the walls of Fifth Avenue's St. Patrick's Cathedral during a protest against police brutality and systemic racism.

The women tagged the Midtown landmark with messages such as "BLM" — shorthand for Black Lives Matter — "f--- 12" and "NYPDK" on Saturday, May 30. Protesters have taken to New York City's streets every day since Thursday, May 28 to protest the killing of Minneapolis man George Floyd, who died after a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck for more than eight minutes.

Police arrested one man in connection with the vandalism, but Manhattan prosecutors declined to bring charges, the New York Post reported. The man acted as a "getaway driver" for the two vandals, according to the report. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr. announced last week that he will not bring charges against people arrested during protests for George Floyd and other victims of police violence.
