Shake Shack's Simplest Chicken Sandwich Yet Comes to New York
It's just fried chicken, cooked in buttermilk, and smothered in honey and pepper.

MIDTOWN, NY — The unbelievably popular fast food franchise Shake Shack just unveiled its simplest new menu item yet: a fried chicken breast slow-cooked in buttermilk, covered in salted honey and black pepper.
That's it. There's nothing else on the sandwich except the chicken breast. It's called the Salt & Pepper Honey Chick'n.
The new crispy specimen debuted Friday at the three Brooklyn locations of the restaurant for $6.29, and if it's a hit, you'll probably see it soon all throughout New York City.
