Suspect In Hell's Kitchen Anti-Gay Attack Sought By Police
A man made anti-Asian and anti-gay statements while throwing liquid on someone in Hell's Kitchen, police said.

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — Police on Monday asked for help identifying a man accused of committing an anti-gay attack in Hell's Kitchen earlier this summer.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. on June 5, when a 57-year-old man was standing on West 50th Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues.
He was approached by an unidentified man who threw liquid on his back and made anti-Asian and anti-gay statements before fleeing on foot, police said.

The victim was not injured. The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the incident.
This week, police released a photo that they said shows the suspect sitting on the corner of Eighth Avenue and West 50th Street around 5:30 p.m. on July 23.
