Taxi Flips Over During Hell's Kitchen Crash, Police Say
The cab driver was taken to an area hospital.

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — A taxi flipped over on its roof during a Tuesday afternoon crash in Hell's Kitchen, according to an NYPD spokesman and photos from the scene.
The car crashed on Ninth Avenue and West 39th Street shortly after 4:30 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said. The driver of the vehicle was taken to an area hospital and no other injuries were reported, according to the spokesman.
Photos and videos from the scene showed that the taxi flipped during the crash. Broken glass from the vehicle's front windows and windshield was strewn about Ninth Avenue.

Police diverted traffic from the street during the evening rush hour, an NYPD spokesman said. The department will investigate the cause of the crash.
