Teenaged Pier 84 Stabber Arrested In Chicago: Report
The teen tried to run to the windy city after he randomly stabbed a stranger on the westside pier Thursday, according to reports.

MIDTOWN, NY — The winds of justice caught up to a teenaged killer hiding out in the Windy City less than a week after a man was fatally — and randomly — stabbed in the chest on a Hudson River Pier, according to reports.
Luis Gil, 19, was arrested Monday night in Chicago, Chief of Detective James Essig told the New York Post on Tuesday at an unrelated press conference. He is expected to be extradited from the Windy City to face murder charges for the killing.
Essig told the Post that the accused teenaged stabber decided to kill on Thursday after seeing his lover dancing with another man on social media, supposedly vowing to stab the next person he saw.

“And that was the first man he saw,” Essig said of the victim, New Jersey resident Hugo Morales, 35, according to the Post.
The Post reports that Essig said there is no connection to Gil or his girlfriend, making the killing totally random.

Detectives found Gil in Chicago after learning he purchased a bus ticket to Chicago, according to the Post.
Police are still looking for five others who they say were with the stabber that evening.
