Times Square Foot Locker Robbed By Burglars, Police Say
Two men forced open a door to the Midtown store and stole large amounts of shoes and clothing.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Two men broke into the Times Square Foot Locker store in the middle of the night and swiped shoes and clothing, police said.
The men forced open the employee entrance at the Foot Locker on Broadway and West 42nd Street shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday, police said. Once inside, the burglars rifled through the store's inventory, placing shoes and other items into large plastic bags an NYPD spokesman said.
Police did not place a value on the good stolen, but did describe the haul as "a large quantity of shoes and clothing." The burglars were able to flee the store and avoid arrest, police said.
