MIDTOWN, NY — Good news, lovebirds — applications are now open for couples looking to get married in Times Square on Valentine's Day, the Times Square Alliance said.

The Times Square Alliance — the cultural organization managing the district — said applications are also open for couples who want to pop the big question on a larger-than-life billboard on Valentine's Day.

The Alliance has installed a brand new heart-shaped sculpture in Duffy Square, where the weddings will take place, a spokesperson said.

For vow renewals, the Times Square Alliance is also hosting one big group ceremony, where anyone can attend, on the red steps, that ends early enough for couples to share a date at a Broadway show or a romantic dinner nearby.

“There’s no better place to say ‘I love you’ than Times Square,” Tom Harris, the president of the Times Square Alliance, said.

“It’s a wonderful treat for all who visit Times Square on Valentine’s Day to witness surprise proposals, weddings, and the vow renewal ceremony on the iconic Red Steps and having these real life love stories unfold right in front of you.”

If your application is chosen, the Times Square Alliance will reach out to you by the end of January, the organizers said. To apply for any of the Valentine's Day festivities, click here.
