WATCH: Mike Pence Gets Boo'd Like Crazy at Hamilton Showing

The cast also had a statement for the vice president-elect after the show.

MIDTOWN, MANHATTAN — Vice President-elect Mike Pence attended a showing Hamilton the musical on Broadway Friday night to intense boos — and some cheers — in the audience.

Video of Pence entering the Richard Rodgers Theatre on West 46th Street shows tension in the audience as the boos outweighed the cheers.

After the show, the cast of Hamilton had this statement to share with Pence:
