Woman, 7-Year-Old Boy Die In Fall From NYC Hotel, Police Say

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A woman and boy died Friday morning after falling from a high-rise hotel in Midtown Manhattan, police said.

The 46-year-old woman and the 7-year-old were found on a second floor balcony of the Gotham Hotel — located on East 46th Street between Fifth and Madison avenues — around 8:30 a.m., an NYPD spokesman said.

Both were pronounced dead on the scene, an NYPD spokesman said. The spokesman could not confirm how they fell or how the woman and boy were related.

The New York Post identified the woman as former Playboy model Stephanie Adams and the boy as her 7-year-old son Vincent. An NYPD spokesman cold not confirm this report. Adams was reportedly engaged in a custody battle with ex-husband Charles Nicolai, an unnamed friend of Adams told the Post.
