Woman In Critical Condition After Midtown Train Push: Officials

MIDTOWN, NY — A woman suffered a critical injury after a man pushed her into a train leaving a Midtown subway station, police said.

At about noon on Wednesday, the 29-year-old woman was shoved into a southbound E train as it was leaving the 5th Ave-53rd Street subway station, according to officials.

First responders rushed her to New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center with critical head trauma, officials said.

No arrests have been made and police only offered a preliminary description of a suspect, saying that they are looking for a man in his 30's wearing a maroon sweater.
