Woman Found Dead In Midtown Playground: Police

MIDTOWN, NY — A woman was found dead inside a Midtown playground on Sunday, police said.

The victim, a 75-year-old woman, was discovered face-up on the pavement inside the Tudor Grove Playground on East 42nd Street near Tudor City Place on Sunday at about 2:30 p.m., according to officials.

A person who called 911 to report the incident told police that they saw the woman falling from a nearby window, a NYPD spokesperson said.

First responders brought the woman to Bellevue Hospital where she was declared deceased, officials said.
