It's a hot one out there, folks.
Summer is in full swing, and with temperatures well into the 90's Tuesday, here are a few ideas to try to stay cool in the area.
1. Head to Ralph's for a cold ice, ice cream, drink or more. Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin Robbins are also located right next door.
2. Cedar Beach is open for the summer, as is the Cedar Beach Bar with food, drinks and even live entertainment if you head there at the right time. Don't forget your parking pass for the season, though. This year, passes can be purchased at the guard booth.
3. Open the pool and get it ready for the summer. Head to Swim King, Leslie's, Arthur Edward's or TLC Pools for anything you may need.
4. The lines are getting longer at McNulty's. Get there early to beat the crowd and grab a treat.
5. Don't have air conditioning? Grab a drink and relax in Crazy Beans or Starbucks coffee shops in Miller Place.
