Homicide Detectives Investigating Death Of Man Found In Garbage Truck In Rocky Point: Police

ROCKY PINT, NY — Suffolk Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a man found in a garbage truck in Rocky Point early Tuesday morning, a police spokesperson said.

The man, who has not been identified, was found on Rocky Point-Yaphank Road at around 4:12 a.m., according to police.

His cause of death appears to be a medical incident, police said.

The Homicide Squad investigates all non-attended deaths.
