A Thank You From Your Departing Editor
Miller Place-Rocky Point Patch will be in new hands starting July 20.

It is with a mixture of emotions I announce that after two-and-a-half years as your editor of the Miller Place-Rocky Point Patch, I will be moving on to a new role with Patch.
It has been my absolute pleasure to cover everything in the area over the past few years. Despite living here since I was seven years old, I had never had the chance to meet such wonderful people, so many of which dedicate so much of their time to the community, and I am grateful for meeting all of you.
I have had so many great experiences over the past few years and I will cherish them forever. I thank you all for letting me be your voice during that time.
As for my future plans, I am moving on to a great opportunity with Patch in Brooklyn. I am thrilled to remain with Patch, the organization that has done so much for me since earning my degree in 2010.
I am more than happy to hand over the site to two great, longtime Patch editors, Chrissy Sampson and Joseph Pinciaro.
