Barbecue Fire Spreads To Home In Miller Place: Police
It started at about 4:15 p.m. on Labor Day, Suffolk police said.
MILLER PLACE, NY — A fire broke out in a barbecue then spread to a Miller Place home on Labor Day, Suffolk police said.
The fire started at the Helme Avenue home at around 4:15 p.m., according to police.
No one was injured.

Suffolk's Arson Squad detectives, who responded to the fire, deemed it non-criminal in nature, police said.
