  4. McCabe’s Beach in Southold
  5. Centre Island — Sound Beach in Oyster Bay
  6. Kenney’s Beach in Southold

3. The Suffolk County Council of Boy Scouts are having a ceremony today to commemorate the new McMorris Lodge at Baiting Hollow that honors Andrew McMorris, the Boy Scout from Wading River who died after a drunk driver plowed into his troop while they were out on a hike in 2018. (Patch)

  • Shoreham-Wading River High School golfer Melanie Hagen placed seventh overall at the Section XI Individual and Team championships. She is a sophomore and would have qualified for the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Girls Golf championship if it were being held this year. (Facebook)
  • Rocky Point High School seniors enjoyed a trip to the Country Fair in Medford. Led by math teacher Janece Alfredson, the students got to try: mini golf, go-karts, relay races, batting cages, golf range, volleyball, corn hole, and kickball. (Facebook)
