1. A Long Island jury's guilty verdict made history against drug manufacturer Teva Pharmaceuticals USA and its partners that distribute opioids. The jury said the companies were guilty of fueling the addiction epidemic. (Patch)
2. The Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce will host a Mac N’ Cheese Crawl on Jan. 29-30 from 1 to 4 p.m. For $25, participants sample macaroni and cheese dishes from 14 restaurants. (Greater Long Island)
3. Suffolk County Parks will accept Christmas trees for recycling at Smith Point Beach, daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Greater Long Island)
