Miller Place-Mt. Sinai Historical Society Receives Grant; Tours Begin in June
Historical society receives grant from county.
The Miller Place-Mount Sinai Historical Society recently received a grant from Suffolk County distributed for community development that will be used to further the preservation of local history and support the work of the society.
“The Miller Place-Mount Sinai Historical Society does a wonderful job of promoting our communities rich heritage,” said Legis. Sarah Anker.
Starting June 1st, tours of the historic William Miller house will take place on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. For more information call 476-5742.
