UPDATE: Mount Sinai Man Reported Missing Found Safe

UPDATE 11 a.m.: Schroer has been located unharmed, police say.

Suffolk Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man who was reported missing on Monday.

Lynn Schroer, 66, of Mount Sinai, was last seen on Oleeta Road when he left for a doctor’s appointment in Medford at about 10:30 a.m. Schroer was reported missing by his wife.

Schroer is white, 5-foot-10 and about 135 pounds. He has blue eyes, gray hair and he wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a tan shirt, navy blue pants with stripes down the side, a black winter coat, and black shoes. He was driving a 2011 black Volkswagon Jetta with NY license plate ADM 3793. He suffers from rheumatoid arthritis. He did not take his cellphone or medications with him.
