In today's Daily, read about two suspects wanted by local police, one for shopping with a stolen credit card and one for a shooting on Wednesday night. Rocky Point students are working on a marine science project with Long Island environmental groups. Student artists displayed their work in Rocky Point, and Shoreham-Wading River High School thespians have a Shakespeare show on tap this weekend.

1. Ryan Bonner reports on the Suffolk County Police Department (SCPD) looking for a man who used a stolen credit card at a Walmart in Middle Island and a 7-Eleven in Rocky Point on April 17. The card was stolen from a parked vehicle in Rocky Point that same day. If you have tips contact the SCPD at 1-800-220-TIPS. (Patch)

2. May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month. Dan's Papers has a handy list of tips as we enter tick season. Scientists are saying 2021 will be a bad year for ticks—and in some parts of Long Island's East End up to half of all deer ticks have Lyme disease. 70% of people bitten by the tiny menaces are bitten in their own backyards. 3. Joan Gralla has the details on a non-fatal shooting in Coram Wednesday night. The suspect is still at large.
