- Bring your umbrella out with you today: a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms are forecasted for after noon in the area into tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

- Bail for Thomas Costa, the 31-year-old man charged in a fatal hit-and-run, was set at $150,000 cash or $300,000 bond this week. The family of the victim, Karen Benjamin, is working to up the charges on Costa; stay tuned for a story on that later on today.
