Two Rocky Point Middle School students were selected along with dozens of others from across Suffolk County on a competitive basis to perform in the Intermediate Long Island String Festival Association concert at Northport High School on Jan. 22.

Sena Donnelly and Allison Keane shared their talents on violin and viola, respectively. The students work hard on their musical expertise under the leadership of Rocky Point Middle School orchestra teacher Meghan Walter. Their honor was accomplished with New York State School Music Association scores as the main criteria, along with teacher recommendations.
