1. Michael Ebert profiled a Miller Place seventh grader who raised money for pancreatic cancer research to honor his late grandfather. Vincent Martino raised $1,000 for the fundraiser, which was also a school project at North Country Road Middle School. (Newsday)
2.Suffolk County Legislative Aid Seth Squicciarino posted on Patch to share that the Terryville greenbelt will be expanded by 17 acres. Suffolk's purchase will add to the 40 acres of protected area within the Special Groundwater Protection Area. (Patch)
