Here Are The Most Beautiful Places In Nassau, Suffolk: Report

Who says you have to travel far to find a gorgeous place? There are plenty of spots right on Long Island.

In fact, the website NewYorkUpstate named the most beautiful places in each of New York's 62 counties.

Old Westbury Gardens in Old Westbury and Caumsett State Historic Park and Preserve in Lloyd Harbor were deemed the most breathtaking areas for Nassau and Suffolk, respectively.

Each of these locations offer something different. One offers a look into Long Island's Gold Coast era while the other is sprawling with beautiful views of nature.

Here's what NewYorkUpstate had to say about these places:

Old Westbury Gardens: Look through a window back to Long Island's Gilded Age at this sweeping palatial estate, complete with a Charles II-style mansion and world-renowned gardens.

Caumsett: This gorgeous, nature lover's paradise is located on a peninsula sticking out into Long Island Sound. Recreational activities and sightseeing abound.
