Nassau Construction Company Ripped Off For Thousands Of Dollars In Stolen Items, Damages:
Police are searching for the person or people responsible for the burglary.
MINEOLA, NY — A burglary took place on Sunday afternoon in Mineola, police said.
Officers responded on Monday morning to the intersection of Elm Place and Jericho Turnpike for a driver who was stuck, police said.
The 2000 Kenworth dump truck was empty and officers contacted the registered owner who had left it parked at a Puca Construction office building located on Elm Place, authorities said.

Officers responded to the location and following an investigation found that the truck had been stolen from the site by unknown person(s) after illegally entered into the building, police said.
There was approximately $9,600 in damages or stolen items, police said.
