Mineola Lions Club Awards $4,000 Scholarship to Mineola High School Senior
Mineola High School graduate Wendy Espinosa chosen as scholarship recipient.
The was proud to present a $4,000 scholarship to graduating senior at the recent Senior Awards breakfast.
The club broke with tradition in that it usually awards two $2000 scholarships.
Club members were so impressed with Wendy Espinosa’s achievements in academics and and her that the club decided to consolidate two scholarships into one.

“Our Club is proud to present this scholarship to Wendy Espinosa in recognition of her dedication to excellence in all that she does and her courage in the face of adversity,” Lion President Joe Bosnack said in a statement.
