Police Find Body in Woods in Herricks
The medical examiner's office is currently determining the cause of death, police said.

Nassau Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man discovered in the woods in Herricks Monday afternoon.
Detectives say they found the body of an unknown man at 1:40 p.m. in the woods near Old Searingtown Road and Searingtown Road. The man was wearing black pants, a tan olive jacket, blue hooded sweatshirt and blue sneakers.
The medical examiner’s office is currently determining the cause of death, police said.

Nassau County Crime Stoppers asks anyone with information regarding the identity of the victim to call 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
