Police ID Man Fatally Shot in Mineola
The shooting occurred on Roslyn Road, police say.

Nassau Police have identified the man who was fatally shot Sunday night in Mineola.
Police said the victim was Oscar Granados, 43, of Mineola.
According to detectives, police received a 911 call about a male shot on Roslyn Road around 9:36 p.m. Upon arrival, police found Granados lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. Granados was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:42 p.m., police said.

Earlier media reports described the incident as an apparent robbery. The incident occurred in a driveway of a home on Roslyn Road near 2nd Street, Newsday reported. According to Eyewitness News, as many as two suspects fled the scene after the shooting, with one dressed in a black bubble jacket and carrying a silver handgun.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
