Police Searching For Suspect In Armed Robbery in Mineola
Incident occurred Tuesday night at a Subway restaurant in Mineola.
Nassau Police are searching for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday night at a Subway restaurant in Mineola.
Detectives say a man entered the Subway at 468 Jericho Turnpike armed with a handgun and demanded money from the man working at the store. The victim complied, and the suspect fled on foot, heading north on White Road with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as wearing tan boots, blue jeans, a black jacket and gray sweatshirt, police said.

The victim was alone in the store at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported, according to police.
Detectives ask anyone with information about this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
