‘Suspicious’ Fire Destroys Albertson Home

Over 150 firefighters respond to blaze on Foxcroft Road Tuesday morning.

A fire which destroyed an Albertson house has been deemed suspicious by the Nassau County Police.

The blaze broke out at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday morning in a home at 21 Foxcroft Road.

Nassau County Police as well as arson/ bomb squad detectives were on the scene to investigate the possible firebombing but declined to offer any additional details beyond labeling the event as suspicious in nature and that the investigating would be ongoing.

Over 150 firefighters to the alarm from at least five companies including Roslyn, Williston Park, East Williston and . The fire was placed under control at 2:54 a.m.

Four people inside the home managed to escape without sustaining any injuries.
