Antoinette Montague To Wrap Up Jazz Society Season

The jazz singer will perform at the First Presbyterian Church in Mount Vernon.

Jazz singer Antoinette Montague will wrap up the PJS Jazz Society season when she performs at the First Presbyterian Church on Columbus Avenue in Mount Vernon.

The concert takes place from 5:15 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 10.

Arts Westchester recently profiled Montague. The profile focused on her decision to perform a tribute Sunday honoring her two mentors, singers Carrie Smith and Etta Jones.

In the story, Montague spoke about meeting and working with her idols. She worked with Smith for 10 years. Jones encouraged and mentored Montague.

Montague has played most of the major jazz clubs in New York City, as well as performing internationally. She is known for her powerful voice and repertoire of upbeat and soulful songs.
