Black Law Enforcement Celebrate Women’s History Month
The event recognized the contributions of women of African decent in the Justice System within the various fraternal organizations.

From the Grand Council of Guardians: The Grand Council of Guardians Inc., an organization of African-American law enforcement that consist of different fraternal law enforcement organizations in the state of New York held its 11th annual Women’s History Month Event in Mt. Vernon City Hall. The event was hosted by Councilman Andre Wallace.
“This is the first time that this event will be held in the county of Westchester. I am honored to have so many powerful women in Law Enforcement within the Mount Vernon City Council Chambers”, said Councilman Wallace.
The event recognized the contributions of women of African decent in the Justice System within the various fraternal organizations throughout the state of New York.

New York City Correction Guardians paid tribute and honored Alastacia Bryan. Officer Byan was untimely killed last year.

Westchester County Correction Sergeant, Etonya Lee Bonds-Conn was also honored.
