Mount Vernon Students Perform in 'Most Wonderful Time' Holiday Concert
Admission is free, but donations are accepted at the door on December 10.

From Mount Vernon High School: On Saturday, December 10 at Mount Vernon High School, Dr. Kenneth R. Hamilton will present The 2nd Annual Community “Most Wonderful Time,” a holiday concert. There is no charge for admission, but a canned good, clothing item or unwrapped toy will be gratefully accepted at the door.
Actress and dancer Jasmine Guy from the popular NBC sitcom “A Different World” will perform, along with The Jenkins Brothers, Classical Vocalist Derek Lee Ragin, and Leah Joy. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7 p.m.
“This is a great way to build community spirit and help the less fortunate in our community with donations of food, clothing and toys,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kenneth R. Hamilton. “Music brings people together, especially around the holidays, and we are so pleased to have immensely talented performers join us for this wonderful event.”
